Re: Covid 19 plus side

I've setup a Pi-Hole system using my older Raspberry PI. https://pi-hole.net/
Seems to be working very well, not seen any advertisements during my casual browsing.
Currently shows that 28.3% of website requests have been blocked.

That must make surfing the web pretty boring smile

Re: Covid 19 plus side

Actually, browsing is a lot quicker, and depending on the website design, there is more relevant data on the screen at once, so less scrolling and more time reading what is important with no distractions. Highly recommend it.

Re: Covid 19 plus side

Well, a few updates...

- have now got the pedals working in RaceRoom Racing Experience (unlike most other games where they just work straight away, you have set "keys" for the pedals and buttons on the wheel in order to use them all properly)

- Project Cars is currently 85% off on Steam, so have also picked that up, and confirmed with a quick keyboard-drive that it works fine, will get the rig set up tomorrow when I get home from hopefully getting my real car fixed

The proper Steam Summer Sale is supposedly starting in early July, so will have a look at Assetto Corsa Competizione & Wreckfest then! smile

Re: 8 Billion & Counting

8 billion - well done team!
And can i just mention i just got a gold badge for HSTB. That makes 20 gold badges, and a pretty row of 20 yellow dashes in my signatures. I don't think i can keep some of them gold much longer. Time moves on.

Re: 8 Billion & Counting

Firstly, hope everyone's well, etc! smile

So, onto on-topic updates first...

Overall crunching time hit 230 years, yesterday, just noticed with the monthly email-digest I get! smile

Total Run Time (y:d:h:m:s) : 230:022:03:40:12

I'm also pushing nicely towards Diamond-5 on COVID-19, am around the 3.5 year mark, so a few weeks for that badge-upgrade.

---

And, now, the off-topic (ish) update...

The Steam Summer Sale started earlier than I expected, and I managed to pick up the following to add to the Project Cars 2 I'd already bought beforehand:

- DIRT Rally 2.0 (plus Seasons 1-4 DLC), that was a fun 110GB download
- Wreckfest (this is hilarious fun)
- Assetto Corsa Competizione (not actually tried this yet, will try later in the week sometime)

I also picked up the Starter Pack for RaceRoom Racing Experience, which contains a few additions:

- Tracks: Brands Hatch, Circuit Zandvoort, Hockenheimring, Mazda Laguna Seca, and Suzuka
- Cars: Ford Mustang IMSA GTO, Tatuus F4, McLaren 650S GT3, BMW M3 GT2, NSU TTS, Audi RS 5 DTM 2016, Mercedes 190E EVO II DTM, Volkswagen Golf GTi TCR, Chevrolet Corvette Greenwood, and the Audi TT Cup 2016

Plenty to keep me busy, with all of that lot! biggrin

Re: 8 Billion & Counting

Two billion points for Mapping Cancer Markers. Well done team!!!
I've no idea why my stats are showing zero for the UK points and results. Hopefully they'll be ok tomorrow. If not, I'll investigate smile
