Good morning all,

I've never seen this before :

My software must be faulty biggrin

I doubt that, I have to say your site looks very professional, you must have put a fair amount of effort into it.

/capdoffed it's all way beyond me, all I specialise in is breaking stuff

Thanks Paul, you're too kind. In reality, the bit you see (written in amateurish JavaScript) is the boring bit. The interesting stuff is the program which runs every night, pulling the data down into a database, and then processing it to produce the stats. That's all written in the Java language, which I'm less inept at. I'm intending to rewrite the web site at some point to make it less amateurish. I originally wrote the stuff when I was working only part time, from home (for 3 months), suffering from a deceased wife, a ruptured Achilles tendon (9 weeks in plaster) and not surprisingly mild depression smile

I second that, in fact I think it's helped attract people to team UK and retain them and by extension WCG which is an amazing thing. Every night it does it's magic and creates more MI which spawns little goals and sub goals for people to compete with themselves and others in the team and beyond.

Sounds like a horrible time Dave, I'm sorry to hear that but you've genuinely created a great thing which in my mind sits in the heart of the team.

DC, I Third mac1's and Paul_D's sentiment, you have created something that was badly needed, that we can all use and rally around. Your stats help newbies and veterans alike.

Re: Good morning everyone

You are all too kind. I feel even more inspired to jazz up the web site now... although I have to sell a house and buy another one before then, so probably a winter job. BTW, Paul_D, you can get a Team UK signature to add to your Snurk one (if you wish) at http://wcg.36arn.co.uk/sigs/Paul_D.png

Good morning all.

Yeah Dave your stat's rock. I remember when you first started following the departure of jonnnie-uk. I have been referring to them ever since and really they are very reliable and accurate. Thank you.

PS sorry about SV5 yesterday

Thanks Dave I think I will biggrin looks rather smart.

The 2700x bundle arrived Saturday, still not getting true points readings yet as it's got 27 pages of results in pending validation but first half of today is 65k so it's getting there wink

The 12nm architecture certainly allows for higher speeds, it easily hit 4Ghz base and even with the wraith cooler it turbos to 4.6 without issues (yet) I may in time chuck an AIO water cooler at it and see how high it will go but for now i'm more interested in stability and after 2 days all appears to be well.

That is seriously quick on air, Sunday night I added a third PC, a 2683v4 ES which runs at a measly 1.6 laughing not sure if I can get it to hit it's alleged turbo on all cores of 2.5, these ES chips are a bit grumpy like that. But only 130w at the wall which is cool...literally. wink

Talking of which - anyone tried this energy kick-starter Peoples Energy '? I just switched from BG to them, 12p/ kwh seems ok, 100% renew-ables, shares in the co after 3 years ... will let you know.

Re: Good morning everyone

I'm with Octopus, who seem fair, green and have an excellent referral scheme.
It looks like you're going to get a new coloured signature early next week Andy. 100,000 points for the team moves you into the penultimate tier (although quite some way to go to get the ultimate ice blue signature, like Mamajuanuk and reduk).

Re: Good morning everyone

Morning team,

I hit 50 yrs runtime, a stat that I've always lagged behind in.

Need to do some work so my stats will fall for a short while.
