Re: Good morning everyone

Good morning everyone - rain is expected today (which is always welcome). At this moment I can hear the grumble of thunder and there is definitely some moisture in the air trying to get out.

Re: Good morning everyone

Good morning everyone.

Well we ended up with 84mm of rain last night amd the swimming pool is brimming. It looks like I need to clear the guttering at the back of the house as it is totally incapable of handling the flow. No such luxuries as downspouts (or drains for that matter) here. Just a funnel arrangement with a heavy chain to encourage the water to stream down rather than spray everywhere. The good news is that all of the rainwater gets to the garden one way or another. An overcast day with a little more rain is forecast.

Re: Good morning everyone

Just to continue the meteorological theme, it's good weather for crunching in the UK today. Driest winter for 20 years. Luckily, I don't have a hosepipe, so I'm not living in fear of being banned.

Re: Good morning everyone

I just noticed... we're #44 in run time, points and results. Could be an omen for the weekend, Rod?

Re: Good morning everyone

Morning all.

Typical British weather this morning, not raining when I started eating breakfast then piddling down two minutes later so I started digging out the hat and wet weather trousers for the bike ride to work, by the time I've done that it's blinking well stopped raining! I'm still going to take them with me just in case it decides to widdle again.

Mufflin - did you manage to sort out your problem with your remote machine?

Re: Good morning everyone

Good morning all. genhos I hope that you have a widdle free day but that is British springtime for you. We are still overcast here but dry with a forecast of 28C later (it's 19C now). Hardly cold but the sun certainly brightens up the view. Biking to work eh - been there / done that and clocked up some impressive mileage too. If you did it here you would be called a 'Two wheeled Organ Donor' Take care
