Re: Good evening team

Howdy all!

Hope everyone is well.

Haven't been on the forums much recently sorry to say. I won't be for a while either, heading to Portsmouth for my graduation on Tuesday, then driving back on Thursday AND then off to Thailand on Friday for a month. Can't wait to get there, although slightly nervous.

As regards to crunching, I'll be leaving only one VM running so sadly I won't be contributing much.

If I don't speak to you throughout the week, take care and I will see you all in a months time!

Congratulations on the graduation applause and enjoy the holiday.
We'll still be here on your return.
All the best, squire.

Good morning team

Good morning everyone. smile

Not feeling too well this morning, we had a party to say farewell and good luck to a neighbour moving away (not too far) from us. Drank rather more than the system can cope with, so taking things slowly today. sad

Dave the statistics are fab and I am grateful that they are being published, so if you take time off for driving lessons for you son, killing medium sized rats and other activities then so be it. biggrin

Rod I have heard of these copybaru they seem like mean bu**ers so good luck with that. smile

Brad congrats again on your graduation and the official announcement, now go and enjoy Thailand, take lots of piccies, drink plenty alcohol and party. biggrin

Good morning all.

Self inflicted injuries eh domonijo - ot's obviously affected your spelling too (Capybara not copybaru! smile).

Brad have a great time in Thailand and watch out for the 'Lady Boys' - if it looks like a woman, sounds like a woman, smells like a woman - check out the adam's apple in the throat - it's about the only part of the anatomy that surgery can't change. If you get the chance go South and visit the 'Bridge over the river Kwai' and 'Hell Fire Pass' and also try some Ya Dong (Thai whiskey) but not too much!

Re: Good morning team

If anyone has any tips on the best way to kill a medium sized rat (from which I can infer there's probably at least two large ones lurking somewhere nearby), I'd be grateful. My traditional approach is poisoning, which usually takes about 3 months, rotating the poison every few weeks. I presume Rod's approach to deterring capybara would be to get a pet jaguar?
I'm sure you'll have a great holiday Bradley... try to avoid catching anything while you're out there biggrin
Stats... thanks for the kind comments. I don't know how JonnieB kept it up for so long... it must have been taking over his life. My approach requires a bit of work now and again, but it mostly looks after itself.

Re: Good morning team

Can't really help on the rat catching front but I'm sure that RTS48 can find the room for another kitty cat, even if the Jaguar is little bigger than his usual moggies wink

Re: Good morning team

A Jack Russell will soon catch any rats or at least have them finding a new home in a hurry.

Re: Good morning team

Good morning all. I see Snurk's signatures are still stuck. Maybe I'll have to write my own smile. I have all the data (except for UK rank), and it's not too difficult to generate graphics files from within a Java program (although I haven't done that sort of thing for over 10 years). Any potential takers?
