Good morning all. I see Snurk's signatures are still stuck. Maybe I'll have to write my own . I have all the data (except for UK rank), and it's not too difficult to generate graphics files from within a Java program (although I haven't done that sort of thing for over 10 years). Any potential takers? In another thread, I note SNURK is on holiday, he's aware of the issue and will look at resolving it upon his return, as he can't identify the issue remotely... https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/...840_lastpage,yes#lastpost

Good morning all.
----------------------------------------Thanks for the heads up on SNURK mamajuanauk, I wondered if he had headed off to sunnier climes. Dave as much as I like SNURK's signatures I would be fascinated to see a 'home grown' one. If you have the time and the inclination that is. Looking at other stats, this one has some really neat features that you might like to add to the team UK stats http://boincstats.com/en/stats/15/user/detail/xxxxxx/overview replace the xxxxxx with your 6 digit user ID I particularly like the 40 day history and the overtake stats.

Phew! what a scorcher!
----------------------------------------Hope everyone and their machines are safe following the heatwave today. If only the office had air-con. Fortunately it does have a water cooler so that did see quite a bit of use today. Also there were no flying ants about today after I disturbed a nest yesterday morning. They must have all buzzed off to annoy someone else. Stay cool everyone and keep yourselves well watered. |

Too hot. One of my crunchers is passively cooled. You could fry an egg on its heatsink yesterday.

Good morning everyone.
Think I will erase from memory (if possible) to yesterday. Apart from not achieving what I had set out, had to endure overcrowded trains in both directions, (the way back included assorted patrons of the Glyndebourne Opera season with their picnic hampers, along with various Americans / Aussie's etc trying to get to Gatwick). The 'simple' journey to Shaftesbury Avenue was full of adventure as was the journey back. A total of 5 different No 24 buses being turned around or stopped. I am so glad that I am retired because I would hate to do this on a regular basis. ![]() |

Good Morning All. I hope none of you suffered in the mild UK temperatures that you had yesterday. We are due to hit highs of 35 this coming weekend but the difference here is that it will continue through to April or so NEXT YEAR. At the moment with temperatures around the mid 20s everyone is wearing jumpers. I'm enjoying the cooler temperatures here with my average crunching score increasing daily - when it gets too hot I'll drop back I'm sure.

The heat is definitely affecting my crunching ability, and my computers are suffering too

We had low 30s here yesterday and that was plenty warm enough for one day let alone having months of it. How do your computers not melt in to a giant puddle, RTS?
