Re: Good morning team

Goo morning everyone.

Also just noticed that a few days ago Fightaids@hone has moved from Intermittent to Completed status. The longest project up to now finished.

And a goo morning to everyone too smile
It's nice to see a project completed (although not until you've got some nice shiny badges of course).

Re: Good morning team

Good Morning All.

Interesting Qualification session in Hungary. Can Hamilton pull it off in the race?

It looks like HST1 have started validating some of their backlog. With 20 cores I actually recorded over 13 days of run time in the last 12 hours.

Re: Good morning team

Thanks for not revealing the results of the qualifying Rod. I'm definitely intrigued now.
It's too hot for gardening, so I've added the stats feature request from genhos... On the front page it now shows a list of Team UK crunchers who have recently fallen inactive. It's those who have returned results in the last month, but not for the last week. It also shows a list of returners. These are people who had not returned a result for a month or longer, but have now returned one in the last week (or rather, it will be, when I have a little more data). This one was quite tricky - I struggled to work out the database query - so I won't be surprised if it doesn't quite work.
Anyway, on the assumption that the data is correct... welcome back Hemmels!

Re: Good morning team

I've taken a decision not to adopt SNURK's method of using "run time per project" to determine the border colour of my signature. It seems a bit arbitrary, given that you can't control the number of projects. Its only saving grace is that occasionally you get knocked backwards, which I suppose gives you more to strive for.

Anyway, because it's a Team UK signature, I thought I'd colour the signature based on points accrued for the team. Points is a much better measure than run time I reckon. Those of you who've got a signature will now get...

100,000,000 team points = diamond (yellowy silver)
50,000,000 team points = sapphire
20,000,000 team points = emerald
10,000,000 team points = ruby
5,000,000 team points = amethyst
1,000,000 team points = gold
500,000 team points = silver
100,000 team points = bronze

What do you reckon? Is it a sound principle? Are the bands about right? I can do stripey borders if you like smile

Updated: added amethyst

Re: Good morning team

I take it that you mean 500,000 for silver Dave

Re: Good morning team

Oops. Good spot. I've corrected the original post. No one will ever notice biggrin
BTW, the colours in the team rankings are based on the 7-day run time predictions. If you're predicted to move up within the next 7 days it will be green, if you're predicted to move down within the next 7 days it will be red.
