Good morning everyone.  Dave Oooh pretty new badge, wanna wanna,  Thanks domonijo. I assume you're referring to the Gold Zika? Achieved almost entirely using a Google Nexus 9 tablet BTW 1, I've fixed the 3 second initial delay problem with the stats page (it'll take up to 24 hours to percolate through), but in a wholly unsatisfactory manner  BTW 2, the evolving signature had an error in the team runtime figure that capped it at 65 years. Sorry Rod! It's fixed now. BTW 3, suggestions welcome as to what people would like in the signature. If anyone suggests "coloured globes", there will be trouble

Sorted thanks Dave As a suggestion can we have the country totals in there too please? May be in team, Country, world order And may be a different colour set to give better contrast BTW - I like it! Yep, the fonts and colours are purely experimental at the moment. Being a computer programmer, I have same amount of artistic talent as a small dog. I wasn't planning on shiny globes (too hard to start with unless I can steal some from elsewhere), but I do plan to change the colour of the border based on the average run time per project (ala Snurk). I was thinking about fitting in a WCG logo, and 1/4 sized badges, for use outside of the forums. I can, of course, make the signature any size I like - I initially chose 600 x 100.

As a suggestion can we have the country totals in there too please? To date I haven't bothered to calculate rankings within the UK. A bit of poking around and I've discovered how to obtain the data... https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/stat/vi...untryCode=GB&xml=true As you can see from that link, the raw data doesn't include ranking positions. You have to work them out yourself. So, to calculate UK rankings, I'll have to modify my nightly stats gather to include everyone who is "GB". There are currently nearly 18000 people, so that's quite a lot of data. I need to get all of it to calculate the country-wide ranking position of Team UK members. I not sure what happens if you're in Team UK but with a country that's not "GB"... clearly the above wouldn't work, and I can't pull down the data for many tens of thousands of people just using HTTP requests and XML. I don't know how Snurk does it (maybe I should ask). In the meantime, I'll have a think.

Good Morning All - Nice sig. evolution Dave - I know it is copying SNURK a bit but because of my poor eyesight I always prefer white text on a dark background. Looks like there is still room for UK stats
----------------------------------------. I wait with bated breath!Another thought that I have had is that of promoting team UK. The signatures appear on ALL posts, not just team posts, so an exhortation to join Team UK may be productive. I don't know if it can be incorporated in some way.

Thanks guys. It's only taken me about 3 hours so far, and is still at the proof of concept stage really. I'll make the signature a bit deeper and put a "Join Team UK" plug across the bottom.
