Sekerob, I have also seem some people posting with this error message,

- exit code -1073741515 (0xc0000135)

This message I have heard can be caused from the screen saver issue. NOT ALWAYS, but it has been hypothesized.

I also recommend those using NVIDIA to turn off sleep function in Windows. I know this is a CUDA fails to initialize error w/ 295.xx and 296.xx, but I personally don't know, in the technical sense, if these apps are "OpenCl on CUDA" or if CUDA failing to load can interfere with OpenCl loading/working etc.

EDIT: Other random info. Also, a stable OC on a GPU, even for gaming, can SOMETIMES cause tasks to fail running, or become invalid. If someone has an overly aggressive OC and tasks are coming back invalid or failing, I would suggest they either back it down a bit, or go to stock and work their way back up again.

Was that a graphical screensaver such as of a BOINC CPU job or the blank one interfering? That's something to know. Just tested the BOINC screensaver and set all 4 sliders to "Never", and only briefly got the BOINC Logo after which it stayed blank. To confirm it really worked also tested to check what happened with a 1 minute setting and had the project stats cycling by for that timespan, it then going blank.

When the screensaver caused a problem it was graphical.
This PC monitor is usually off so I was not aware that the screensaver was active.
The monitor was on during the Beta.

On this second run I set it to Screen saver (None) and it did not cause the problem.
I'm sure that the problem was the screensaver using the GPU resources and the Beta failed within the first 0.0008 seconds.
Wish now that I saved the error message.

Here is the event log for the GPU card:

Was the beta-GPU-WU coded with robustness in mind? I find it difficult to believe that a screensaver has/was-given (by the drivers?) enough disrupting power as to throw off an executing beta-GPU-WU into an error or invalid or inconclusive result. We may have to look at the robustness angle as opposed to finding out where the arrows are coming from.

The Nvidia 296.10 driver is the problem. I don't know if a newer version will fix the problem but downgrading to 293.xx or 285.xx will fix it.

The simple solution is to turn off the screen saver.
If you must have the screen saver function--in the control panel set the display to turn off.
This is what I did and it works.
Getting a driver fixed??? Good luck there.

301+ appears to have fixed the monitor sleep function. Multiple reports on this fixed on Einstein, as well as seti. I also ran testing for Einstein on 680 w/ 301.10 by allowing monitor to sleep for awhile and WUs kept working and validating.

We have gotten some feedback from the researchers about the previous results. They need more data in order to determine what they want to do to move forward. They have two batches of work that contain a variety of the different classes of images that are found in rest of the data. They have previously used these to verify that the application is operating as desired. We are running these through the beta to do the same here. We will sending back all results identified as valid as well as a selection of results identified as invalid. Depending on what they find, there may need to be a new method for validating workunits that take these new differences into account. However, the first step is to get this data set back to them. This work is available now.

In my case, it was not the screen saver.

Screen Saver = none
Display off = 30 minutes

I suppose it could have something to do with the power settings???
