Didn't have any problems this GPU Beta run but did on the first run.
Don't run the BOINC screensaver if you want to run HCC GPU as it may interfere.
The screensaver kicked in during the first Beta run and the WUs began to fail due to lack of resources.
Once a GPU Beta WU failed all subsequent WUs failed until I turned off the screensaver and updated.

On this run I had 19 valid WUs all on one PC with a NVIDIA GTX 480 and i7-2700K.
My 480's times were better than the wing man's 560 and about 8 seconds longer than the 580's time.

Was that a graphical screensaver such as of a BOINC CPU job or the blank one interfering? That's something to know. Just tested the BOINC screensaver and set all 4 sliders to "Never", and only briefly got the BOINC Logo after which it stayed blank. To confirm it really worked also tested to check what happened with a 1 minute setting and had the project stats cycling by for that timespan, it then going blank.

Point is, many wont allow a system to stay open and accessible in absence, so if the blank screensaver with password protection not interfering is confirmed, than that can be added to the GPU advice out here.

As 5pot mentioned, there are reported problems with certain Nvidia drivers and screensavers. Refer to GPUGrid forum. I have had no problems with 7.0.25 and 295.73.
I had 3 wu's error on one machine with storage violations. There were errors on my side. Things are pointing to one of my Ram sticks going senile. wink I hate having to test memory. sad
Otherwise it was a good Beta. I hope in the future tests the wu's are longer so that we can actually test them. There is nothing that can be tested in a 1.5 minute run.

There is no such as an 'expected' result in a Beta test, there is a 'hoped for' result of Valid, but that is why we are testing. I too got lots of 'Inconclusive' units but I did get some 'Valid' results too.
