Perhaps we should just say no to speculation ![]() Indeed. Last time it turned out to be GFAM. ![]() I've managed to obtain one of these this time. Luck of the draw I suppose.

Wee little fellows they are. First one finished in 11 minutes and the next in 22 minutes. I got 13 so far and pushed them to the top to crunch. See no problems.DM. Shoot me an e-mail when you get a chance. Have some questions for you. Thanks.

Aww but I like speculation! Just kidding. Yes we may(will) be surprised. ![]() - AMD Ryzen 5 1600AF 6C/12T 3.2 GHz - 85W - AMD Ryzen 5 2500U 4C/8T 2.0 GHz - 28W - AMD Ryzen 7 7730U 8C/16T 3.0 GHz |

Just released another grouping into the wild :) about 16,000+ results are ready to be sent. Thanks, -Uplinger These are again shorter work units like before, should be very similar. Next round of work will be split up a little bit better. :) What's to split up better? That first release lasted nearly seven hours. I don't think you could ask for a better opportunity of getting tasks. ![]() Distributed computing volunteer since September 27, 2000 |

As you know, WCG has good flex on most task chopping [not HCC e.g.]. The techs just need to learn & characterize as with DSFL/GFAM what ligands run long and short... then they will be sized up no doubt, the last set only holding 8 jobs. Why load the scheduler with many small as reasonable sized tasks do as well. ;>) --//-- Yes, we will be releasing more work units in the future with better sizing. They will be sized similar to gfam/dsfl when this project goes live. Thanks, -Uplinger |
