Greetings,
Please read about the beta test here... https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread_thread,32508 Please post all issues/questions within this thread. Thank you, -Uplinger Also, we know this beta started late for our European crunchers, which is why I will trigger more work units to go out late tonight and early tomorrow. Right now we have about 10,000 results out in the wild. I will release that many if not more in the next 12-24 hours. Again, thank you for your support! |

Wee little fellows they are. First one finished in 11 minutes and the next in 22 minutes. I got 13 so far and pushed them to the top to crunch. See no problems.

How to say, causes wet eyes on some.
Or the percentages are off, or the times are variable... first 24 minutes, second 26 minutes, third 29 minutes, at 32%, and of course Norton acted up and needed another ''application exception'', for frequent alerting of hi CPU use... still not accepting wildcards against the project directory. --//-- |

To say times are variable would appear to me to be a major understatement. On my ancient P4 I have two work units which, after 40 minutes elapsed, are at 10.00% and 91.25%.
The one at 10% changed at EXACTLY 40 minutes, so the units may have some time-trips in them. Keith asked to check on memory usage. Everything I've seen looks very normal, even on these two outliers. |

I have 8 running, spread across 3 machines. No problems so far.
----------------------------------------The CPU temp is a little higher than usual, which also happens on all my machines when GFAM or DSFL are running. |

First one finished in six minutes, second looks to be closer to 24. No detectable problems as of yet, I'll keep trying to break them.

From 12 minutes to 1:46 is the range on first 8 on 1 device and next 8 are heading for 15 minutes to 2 hours. The wide variance is surely needing the same handling as with DSFL/GFAM to estimate the ligands and get a semblance of predictable times.
The % progress seem to skip in fixed fractions of 1,250 percent for these task builds, with these per stderr.txt holding 8 jobs. They're adhering to the checkpoint settings of the client. Memory and workset so far around 50Mb max. --//-- |

I have 6 machines and 2 virtual machines crunching them...too bad my wife wont allow me to turn on the garage farm. She seems to think we need to remodel a house rather then pay for more electricity. I guess I can have more fun filling a 6 bedroom house with computers rather then the current 2 bedroom one...LOL
