I've got 3 of these babies, running without problems although some quite long - but that's not a problem for me being a beta badge hunter

Received the first "production" WUs of the new project Say No to Schistosoma.

How I wished they have posted it under "Beta Test Announcements" when there are new WUs like they did in the past.

Hi, would like to assist in beta testing, but i don't really have a clear view about how it works. Do i just apply to receive work units, or should i actively monitor how they work out and/or do debugging to dig into issues?

Yes, check the box on your preferences to allow them and then wait. Beta results are rare and highly prized. If you do get one, they will appreciate any bugs or feedback you can provide, but a big part of these tests is just to get them on a variety of systems and see if any issues arise.

So, i take it, active participation is required, rather than just sharing CPU time. I guess if they are really rare I would be able to spend a bit of time on them.

The Beta feeder queue is checked silently [no messages to say there are none]: 1. Your device is opted in for Beta AND 2. When regular work checks are made.
