Was the beta test successful ? When we can expect new beta wave, or production release? 1) all the beta normally need to come back... unfortunately this sometimes takes a few weeks after a beta. 2) once enough (or all) results are in they get sent to the scientists to determine if everything looks good 3) a release date is then made 4) we don't find out till everything is done or if there will be more beta's ![]() |

The beta has gone very smooth. So far the results look well to the researchers. We are going to send out another small wave to make sure some of our backend server scripts are ready. This will be about 2000 results to send out.
Thanks, -Uplinger |

Forgot to mention, this also has a minor change for the screen saver so the version in Beta gets updated to 6.13.
Thanks, -Uplinger |

I have a full tank of 80 and all are running well. I see the same as SekeRob on the screensaver although I just checked a few.

Running BETA_SN2S_A37114_0000001_0204. Selected that task, hit Tasks, Show graphics. Grey window opened, then immediately an error dialogue: "wcg_beta14_graphics_6.13_windows_intelx86 has stopped working". It's repeatable. Is this normal for a hidden-graphics beta? The WU continues to run.
This is a 4-core i5-750, Windows 7 64-bit. It is also running 2 other betas and a repair (no reply) CEP2. I don't normally look at the WU graphics, so haven't tried that button for a long time. |

Do you have a firewall with some kind of sandbox for newly downloaded files? Might be you have to approve those. I have a similar computer, same OS and also CEP2 running, no errors when opening graphics here.
----------------------------------------My other computer has a different firewall, I always have to allow access to new (wcg) applications. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Feb 20, 2012 9:11:26 PM] |
