Re: Looking for survivors to join Team "The survivors"

Do not fall in love with someone and then try to change them into the person you want.
Find a person that has the qualities you want and fall in love with that person.
Your life will be much easier.
People do not change.
Well, maybe for a little while but they always go back to their old self because that is their comfort zone.

sad sad crying I wish it was that simple, rcc crying

Re: Looking for survivors to join Team "The survivors"

grumpygrampy,
He is running 16 i7 processors, which is not bad for an individual.
http://www.de.allprojectstats.com/top.php?typ...jekt=0&userid=1603850
There is always someone bigger, badder, meaner, etc...
I would not aspire to be the biggest on WCG.
My goal is to do the best I can with what I have, and I am doing that.

little mermaid,
It really is that simple.
It is a basic that many ignore.
Certainly life is more complex but if you pick a mate and think you can change them you are wrong.
And during the process of you changing them or vice versa your life will be miserable.
Been there, done that.

I found the right person after 3 tries.
I am who I am and nobody is trying to move me out of my comfort zone.
And, I wouldn't change a thing about Martha.
I am as happy as an ant at a picnic.

grumpygrampy,
Did you get the new hard drive?
One of my PCs was down for a few days and I felt like "my dog died."

I Downloaded and installed the 64bit version of BOINC

Re: "The survivors"

The feeling I got after fixing my PC was similar to the feeling of eating a handful of scotch bonnets; after the pain goes away.
It feels so good when it stops hurting.
I call it a Scoville High.

Rumor has it that there is no Santa.
So I am going to put Santa to the test.
This year I want a IBM Power 775 Supercomputer for Christmas.

Just one rack will be fine Santa!
