I have a problem with uploading on 6 machines. It is only CEP2 work. My other projects which upload directly to WCG are fine.

No don't have the problem. Last uploaded and reported cep2 task was at 8:21pm, gmt time according boinctasks.

Recently had to change the dns server ip's as there was no way to get to wcg, though as with harvard they have a constant set of addresses. Switching from isp auto-provided to the well known google address dns server ips 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 reestablished the connection. No amount of device and router booting, leaving it off for a few minutes to be sure to get a different ip assigned, did the trick, it often seems to be doing so.

Yep, me to, I've just uploaded 30 odd completed tasks from 2 of my machines, and downloaded replacements...

All appears to working correctly again now...
