Re: CEP2 Transient upload error

I don't have enough message history to answer that question.

The problem probably happened during a power failure. At this point, it won't report and I can't abort it.

Re: CEP2 Transient upload error

It might time out after the 10days from release date and get server aborted.
You could do a project reset, but you would first want to select to get no more WCG tasks and chip in for another project until all WCG tasks finish.
A disk check is always worthwhile following a system restart due to a power outage. It might even resolve the problem. Check that your CEP2 tasks checkpointed first though.

Re: CEP2 Transient upload error

Dear pirogue,
we have deleted the partial upload on our side - hope that helps.

Re: CEP2 Transient upload error

I just did a retry and I'm still getting this:
447 World Community Grid 4/12/2011 12:45:04 PM Temporarily failed upload of E201793_426_C.23.C18H10O3SSi.00587365.2.set1d06_0_4: transient upload error

Can you just server abort it?

Re: CEP2 Transient upload error

Dear pirogue,
I again deleted the initiated (but empty) upload on our server. So right now there is no more record of your upload on our end. If you still/again get this error message I am out of ideas...
Best wishes

Re: Transient upload error

Very few requests to "man-handle" lock clears, but interesting to test a few things today and find:

1. Multiple simultaneous uploads of part _4 of either a single or from multiple machines never had the "not-limited" bw on my side to ever exceed a combined 104KB... close to what my ISP promises.

2. Manually suspending the uploads in the middle, multiple times with clients 6.10 and alpha 6.12 let the resume take off where it left and run to completion without starting from the beginning. i.e. the upload percent never exceeded 100%, best demonstrated by freezing at 95% and then completing within a few dozen seconds.

Goodoos... whatever more was done beyond the forced https use, it's working to satisfaction, my side.

I've clicked "Retry" a few times in the Transfer tab. The file is stuck at 3.01% uploaded.
