Well, it is not quite clear what happened here last weekend, but it seems to have sorted itself out by now. If people still have upload problems, please let us know. It may have had something to do with a system maintenance performed by Harvard Research Computing. Our servers and storage arrays were not directly effected by this, but maybe some of the supporting architecture was temporarily offline. Sorry about the trouble this may have cause.

you should be good to go now. Sorry for the inconvenience. Dear [B_S] Dimitrij, it's not quite straightforward to automatize this so we decided to do it manually. Though I agree on this being relatively rarely reported by contributors, is the onus on the contributors to post-in? Could the CEP2 team run a little analysis, say daily, and delete the suspect, incomplete upload items of certain age [on Monday-Friday]?

Hi SekeRob and others,
the problem is that it is not obvious which files are incomplete on our side - they just look like any other upload (although usually smaller - but we see the same thing for timed out results on slow hosts). There would probably be a way to identify unsuccessful upload-attempts but that is rather complicated and we don't have the time to look into it at this point. Sorry about that. I've tried reboot, restart and even disc repair and verify and it is still staying firmly reporting the above error. Help!
