Thanks guys for the info on AMD. Now that is cranking full time. I initially did not adjust the power saving and it automatically shut off after 15 minutes! Now that that is corrected it is cranking at 3.66 Mhz. RT I have 10 years on HFCC and 11 on HCMD-2 so am trying to raise my FAH from 2 to 10 years, but am open to switch to any project so we can compare say 100 WU's to see how may points/time or what ever to compare. Currently have quite a few WU's in PV jail.

I am not sure how many have noticed but at least one of Dave's machines is crunching again. I saw his numbers drop as expected when presumably his machines were turned off and WUs in PV cleared out. However, it would seem that at least one of them is crunching again, enough to make the Top Twenty. With four sons, if I recall correctly, I strongly suspect that at least one of them has simply turned one of his machines back on and it is running as it was in the past. As strange as it may seem, he is still crunching with us this way as whomever continues to run his machine(s) under his account. Along with that, I decided that the same level of recognition was deserved. If one of his sons has decided to honor Dave's commitment here by continuing to run one or more of his machines in his name, I will respect that and support it fully.

Currently have quite a few WU's in PV jail. Now we have a bit of a problem in doing the comparison. Over the week or two since I did the last build, I have converted two I7s (920 and the new 870) over to Ubuntu. The other two I7 (860s) are both being used for daily work; indeed one of them is my general purpose machine -- the one I am typing on now. Of course there are other machines but they are not "ships of the line". . I will try to figure out a way that we can get one of the I7s free to do this comparison. I did notice that a few days ago already. I hope it is intentional. It certainely would be a greath way to keep Dave's memory alive. Rej ![]() THE ).( IS NAKED!
