Hey Flodisar and anyone else without a DDDT2 Badge,
----------------------------------------there are some work units available now, but you can't run anything else or it wont download em, I have about 30 work units on 3 machines, appartently there is a quota of about 10 per core? So you might have to babysit your computer to get work after it has done all the DDDT2 (Discovering Dengue Drugs Together 2) ![]() |

Yes, it was some time ago I last saw some dddt2 WUs. At the moment I am unfortunately not able to babysit my computer (no matter how much I would like that), since I am at my parents' place. But at least I have dddt2 selected in the projects list. At the moment I am trying to reach emerald in those projects where I have gold or Ruby or anything else less spectacular :) dddt2 is of course one of those projects but work units are very scarce so I will have to wait for better days to come for that project I'm afraid.

I set my 3 rigs to just DDDT2 and CEP2 (1 unit per device)
----------------------------------------then I turned it up to 5 days cache. It seems like for now, there is enuf work to keep em busy for 3 days at least. I did build the 3770 this weekend, but now I have to disassemble and reassemble my desks from the garage to the basement to have somewhere to put it. Anyway you all have a good week! ![]() |

Oh! I see that our signature crunch stats are now displaying Efficiency in points/h...good that it is not points per kWh :)
----------------------------------------So I have 240pts/h...which should mean that getting 1 000 000 points should take 4167hrs or 173 days...on a single core. Running 6 cores with HT to 12 threads should give 14.5 days...interesting :) ![]() Join The International Team: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/team/viewTeamInfo.do?teamId=CK9RP1BKX1 AMD TR2990WX @ PBO, 64GB Quad 3200MHz 14-17-17-17-1T, RX6900XT @ Stock AMD 3800X @ PBO AMD 2700X @ 4GHz |

Yay, ruby on DSFL! On my name-day (here in Sweden) and all! :)
----------------------------------------EDIT: Hooray also for WCG reaching 1 000 000 000 returned results! Trying to reach emarld on all projects and then concentrate on the projects I like the most. Unfortunately I cannot get anything higher than Bronze on DDDT1 though. DDDT2 on the other hand I have some hope for the future when hopefully there will be a backlog of tasks waiting to be crunched! I have seriously started to look around for another car, but my indecisive nature when it comes to larger investments makes it very hard. On one hand, I would like to have a car that I could take for a longer ride during vacation for instance in Europe (meaning comfortable, safe, reliable, quiet on highway, but still economical to drive and own <- The last criteria ruins it all! :( ). Here I'm thinking a Saab 9-3m Tri-fuel or Volvo V40 D2 would fit in, but such cars are very expensive, both to buy and own! On the other hand it would be very good if the car was a bit cheaper to own and practical in the city with low fuel consumption even in city driving, like a Honda Jazz hybrid for instance, but I wouldn't want to travel more than 200-300km in such a car one-way on highway though... As everything in my life, it all ends with a Joseph Heller Moment-22 situation, usually ending in me taking no action at all in the matter. I will probably keep my old car then, and later pay even more to repair it every month than the car itself soon will be worth...Darn! ![]() Join The International Team: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/team/viewTeamInfo.do?teamId=CK9RP1BKX1 AMD TR2990WX @ PBO, 64GB Quad 3200MHz 14-17-17-17-1T, RX6900XT @ Stock AMD 3800X @ PBO AMD 2700X @ 4GHz [Edit 1 times, last edit by flodisar at Jun 28, 2012 2:08:51 PM] |

Good day team, hope you are doing well!
----------------------------------------Had to turn off my crunching machine at the moment, hopefully it will be back on track soon (experiencing some instability with a BIOS version, but I see thay released a new version so I will try it out when I get the time). One more week of work until a bit of vacation. Sitting down, writing a poem while listening to one of my favourite classical pieces - Adagio for Organ and Strings in G minor, by Albinoni. That's 11 minutes and 34 seconds of pure indulgence, emotions, shivering and tears. It has been very dear to me ever since I heard it the first time a long time ago (I was probably seven or eight years old). Remebering how I would just sit alone on a bench outside during breaks between classes in school and listen to that piece on a portable cassette player. If you haven't listened to it before (you probably all have heard it sometime though, they have even made remixes of this one into popular music - a great disrespect towards the composer and the nature of the masterpiece. I really hate when they do such things!), I think you really should (http://grooveshark.com/#!/s/Adagio+In+G+Minor+Albinoni/FOOZO?src=5) Wish that I could spend some time with my sister, it was some time ago now. She's off to a wedding together with her boyfriend though and afterwards there will probably be some more time before I see her. It is good that she has a boyfriend and that she is happy, of course. I can't help feeling the effects of not having her around at least once a week during the weekends though...at least it is a good thing I do not have to travel very far to visit my parents. Regarding my car, I am trying to figure something out, what to do with it - I do not trust it anymore, at the same time I have been trying some other cars out but they are either too expensive or they do not suit my needs. The gas prices are crazy here also so that does not make it easier. 95 octane fuel is around $2.1/litre, Ethanol is hovering at $1.4/litre (but ethanol cars consume 40% more than 95 octane), bio-gas costs somewhere $1.85/Nm^3 (those filthy bastards are taking advantage of the high gasoline prices to be able to raise the price of bio-gas), diesel is at $1.95/litre but the road tax on diesel cars is rediculously high, especially if it is not considered to be an "environmentally fiendly car". I do not believe in the CO2 relation to global warming is so high as they want us to believe, and that cars are the major sinners of this crime against the earth. No, that's small potatoes when compared to the exhausts produced by China and India for instance. They are trying to make me feel guilty for driving a car and hoping that I will choose public transport instead...for as long as I can I will not cave in! I am already driving on bio-gas but still they are punishing me for it. It's a friendly friendly world... ![]() Join The International Team: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/team/viewTeamInfo.do?teamId=CK9RP1BKX1 AMD TR2990WX @ PBO, 64GB Quad 3200MHz 14-17-17-17-1T, RX6900XT @ Stock AMD 3800X @ PBO AMD 2700X @ 4GHz [Edit 1 times, last edit by flodisar at Jul 1, 2012 12:57:37 PM] |
