Re: Join The International Team

JP, truly sorry to hear about your sister! :(
My blessings to you and her, may she recuperate soon!
Every day I curse at other drivers in traffic. They really can not drive a car. Especially in round-abouts, it is tragic really.

Damon, congratulations to your marriage!!!
Like Jack, I am too wondering about the quantity of crunchers she will bring ;)
Good to hear from you again, and that you seem to be progressing in life!

Today I got my old car sold. I got what I wanted for it so I am happy, although I am kind of missing it...also I had decided to buy a car and when I finally got mine sold and phoned the car company with the new car...they told me it was just sold. Cr_p!

So now I have no car and the one I wanted to have is gone. Have to start over with my searches.

Crunching on though!

LOL We will be placing at least 1 computer at her house where her son will live. I'm rather maxxed out here but am still on the search for friends willing to foster an old computer or 2.

Y'all have a great day.

Re: Join The International Team

I'm waxing philisophical tonight,
mostly because I'm off the antibiotics for the tooth,
so I can indulge a little.

Life can hit people so extreme and so suddenly...
One day you're walking the next not.
One day you're in love,
the next he/she left
Disease, tempest, livelihood,
all toss us about,
it is good to have friends who know the journey,
or at least will stand with us in hopes/prayers
through the journey.
God bless.

Very true and philosophical, Jack!
I sometimes (more often these days) also fall into these states of mind.
For me it is usually a sign of depression, I really hope that is not the case for you!

It is important to be able to be who we truly are, to our selves and to others.
If one is honest, one should be honest. If one is not, then pretending to be is just worse etc...in my opinion.

Be well everyone!

Re: Join The International Team

No not depressed :)
After all I'm going back to part time work in a month or two!
One computer is still running hot,
think they didn't do the thermal paste right...
Might get liquid or a better fan or just redo it myself.
waste of 2 cores to not be running at 100%

Re: Join The International Team

Good to hear Jack, since depressions can be rather depressive...

Liquid cooling is nice but of course there is the risk of leakage. Although I am running a Corsair H100 in my PC, even though I am worried that some day it will leak.
