Great to hear everyone is sound!
----------------------------------------Friday at last again, soon I will be on my way home...perhaps taking a lie down and watch some UFC, as opposed to the MFC I've been coding and learning all day :) ![]() Join The International Team: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/team/viewTeamInfo.do?teamId=CK9RP1BKX1 AMD TR2990WX @ PBO, 64GB Quad 3200MHz 14-17-17-17-1T, RX6900XT @ Stock AMD 3800X @ PBO AMD 2700X @ 4GHz |

Chris, is it that obvious? :)
----------------------------------------Yes, you are completely correct though, I need a vacation. Feeling a lot like Arnold seemed to feel when he said it in Terminator 2, in the end of it... Seriously, I am hoping that I will be on vacation soon. Even though i very much enjoy my job, one still needs some time off for vacation. I have been working more than full time 40hrs a week every month due to deadlines and me striving to do my best, but that does have a downside. It was the same thing at university. The psychological inability for me to handle failure led to some extreme circumstances. .. Right now though I am chilling off this weekend; having eaten some BBQ meat, taking a walk in the woods and just reclaiming some lost sleeping hours. Often I like to just take the time to sit and think about the deep questions of life over one big cup of green tea in the late evening. Recently I have begun writing some poetry in small scale (something that no one around me ever would have expected me to to, ever) and honestly that includes myself. But, what do you know, sometimes one can surprise one self if ways never thought possible... Now, the only problem I am having with my poetry is that I am not able to produce a lot of positive poems...that does not have to be a bad thing but it is emotionally challenging to write them and read them, when they come from deep within. Perhaps that vacation may help on that part as well :) No don't worry, it is not as bad as it possibly may sound. I've been worse so right now I am just in some kind of deep emotional state of mind. Sorry for any spelling errors, writing this from my phone (yes, with autocorrect on) :) Be well everyone! ![]() Join The International Team: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/team/viewTeamInfo.do?teamId=CK9RP1BKX1 AMD TR2990WX @ PBO, 64GB Quad 3200MHz 14-17-17-17-1T, RX6900XT @ Stock AMD 3800X @ PBO AMD 2700X @ 4GHz |

Chris, yes I'll work it out somehow...but the small extra details of everyday life aren't helping. Like the fact that I will leave my car soon for repair for the very same problem (steering gear leaks oil) to the very same workshop (original car manufactuer workshop). At least I do not have to pay for it since it is covered by the warranty of the previous two repairs. I just can't understand the insurance company; why they didn't want to pay for a new part instead of a used one?
----------------------------------------Now, the car is eight years old though, so any other damage to engine or such parts will not be covered by insurance. If the steering-gear problem would not have been covered I would have to pay around $2600US equivalent for all the work....thinking of changing my car to something newer, but that of course costs a lot too... Tomorrow is mid-summer eve. Haven't got anything planned though. I usually do not "celebrate" or plan such things since I never actually do anything special on such days. The reasons for that vary, but usually it is, at least partly, because I am just too tired of it all repeating year after year so I just like to get some rest instead. Far too often it ends with me trying to catch up on work instead, but I'll try to leave the computer at work this time so that I can't do that this time :) Do you guys have any plans for midsummer? Wow, another semi-positive WOT (Wall-Of-Text) post. Sorry for that, folks... ![]() Join The International Team: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/team/viewTeamInfo.do?teamId=CK9RP1BKX1 AMD TR2990WX @ PBO, 64GB Quad 3200MHz 14-17-17-17-1T, RX6900XT @ Stock AMD 3800X @ PBO AMD 2700X @ 4GHz |
