Interesting, just finished the last resend and immediately got another one. Are they limited to one per machine perhaps...

I just got a repair unit. I gave it priority because it will time out tomorrow.
this makes the tenth unit I have received. The last 2 have been resends. All of the previous units have been validated. We will see what happens to this one. |

Are they limited to one per machine perhaps... BETA's are limited to one per core, so on a single core machine yes one at a time, this is to help spread them out to get a better test |

Just found the timing curious, the next resend popped up on the Quad immediately after the first was done almost as if it was waiting for it to finish...

So much for that theory just got another one.
----------------------------------------While I always appreciate getting Beta's in this case I would rather it wasn't needed as it delays the arrival of the new project, one I'm quite eagerly awaiting... |

Just found the timing curious, the next resend popped up on the Quad immediately after the first was done almost as if it was waiting for it to finish... If it's on a quad then it was simply a coincidence, you might have up to 4 at the same time in your task list (or 8 if it is an i7).The reason why there is some kind of burst of repair jobs is that we are now right at the end of the delay for the initial distribution, so the few who have expired (there may be various valid reasons for that) are being resent. According to the numbers returned in the previous days there should not be many, and with the very short delay and the one-per-thread policy they should all be back pretty soon. |
