Re: It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!

The next target will need to go through type A then B then C progression as well. The researchers are wanting to examine some of the results from ts05 first before the next target starts. This could happen 2 weeks from now. We still need to wait for some of the type C batches to complete for the researchers to get a good look at them.

In general, there could be another drought in the near future.

Thanks,
-Uplinger

I haven't gotten any in an hour or so. Has the drought already arrived?

Linguistically, NO, if understanding the meritus of uplinger words:
In general, there could be another drought in the near future.

Re: It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!

i think our biggest problem is there are work units with return dates 28th on my computer so its not that there are alot more to get its probably that most people already have a 5+ day buffer.

i currently think i have enough for silver + and not going to try for gold on this wave or once i get silver i will decide again.

just kinda curious how many people are gong to be geting the PV h*** while we go...

Re: It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!

PV Heck? Well, by going with the knreed observation, "5600 returned" at 2 PM http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/...d,28748_offset,950#289635 and at the end of the day 4600 validating (net 2300 in quorum 2), the ratio could be 3-4 or much higher of what's validated versus what the over-caching recidivists are holding. devilish Hope though that except for the unrestrained buffering, the weighting leaves much in place for the random work cruncher, though this weighting could have an amount of contra productivity... the hooverers have much more time to stalk the rare feeder released tasks and keep back filling... hope they get tired of it (think though Smeagol never tired hunting for precious) ;D

Re: It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!

nasher, PV only really matters if you are a day or so away from a badge, which is not usually the case; most of the time we are much further away. We are also use to PV making our daily returns uneven eg. HPF2.
Overnight I picked up about 80 more tasks. Now up to 1182, with 323 IP. At 181days from green having 273 PV is of little concern (15 days perhaps); it will take another full flood (or 2) to reach that goal. Perhaps we will be entertained with a new project between now and the next flood.
