Re: It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!

Not certain what the concern is. I have picked up 24 pages of dddt2 WU since 00:00 GMT 20 Aug. Maybe too much micromanagement?

Well...At least I know where all the WU's have gone. cryingapplause

Just need to be more nimble!

Re: It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!

I was not being nimble. I was asleep for 9 of those hours letting my farm act naturally. I also released 150+ WU from my tri-core that was in HP mode and wouldn't finish the Wu it had already downloaded from previous days. Now it is back in order and seemingly staying out of HP mode.

Nice is to see that the 2 sub versions of C Type have their own FPOPS value in the header i.e. the sxx show 1.5 hours estimate, the pxxx, 4.5 hours TTC making the cache total a bit more reliable.

Re: It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!

if I look back at the histories there will be a couple connections where i dont' get anything, then it pickes up a few... Lather, Rinse, Repeat.

...Takes a fresh look...

Just picked up 7 tasks in the last 5 minutes and saw "commited to other platforms" messages on a couple other boxes. Seems wet enough out there to me biggrin

102 days from green

'wet enough'... well soaking to me ;>)

Midday stats against typical Friday tail off suggests 38,500 results validating today... give and take another 250,000 more the be crunched, returned or needing matching with a wing(wo)man.

Re: It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!

Seems to be pooring to me but of course as soon as I say that I will encounter a drought! Hit ruby and in about 4 days should see emerald. Saphire is my goal but will need more rain.

Re: It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!

I would need 10 to 15 days more crunching to get to emerald. Next rain most likely since caching creates so
many problems.

Re: It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!

Does DDDT2 load a separate app each time a new task runs or perhaps allocate a sizable amount of VM?
I ask because I see 33MB and 12MB tasks, and yet each new running task uses somewhere between 300MB and 500MB of RAM. This does not affect CPU Time vs Elapsed time, so it is not a real concern, but it is odd to see for WCG tasks. Thanks,

Nothing special, a general perception on my part... some, but not me, and I'm extremely middle of the road ;O. The p* just happen to be the long ones the s* are short about 1/3rd the p*, so it meant getting 18 hours of work instead of 6. biggrin
