Oh dear, this can't be much fun:
Ferry stuck in ice

The helpful folks at NOAA explain that this is due to global warming:

I just wish that, for a change, warmists would predict such things before the fact.. I sympathize that predicting the future is hard (ice-free Northwest Passage? ice-free Arctic?) But it is cartoonish to instead predict the past and then pretend that such a prediction validates their claims.

Harriscott

Isn't that cartoon just the explanation for all great snowfalls on the East Coast wink

Pretty sure that never, not once, have I ever seen New Yorkers up to their necks in that cold crystalline white stuff that melts into water, or sublimes, before

Not once wink

Never in the field of science was so much made up by so few

http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/energy-env...-wrong-at-the-south-pole/

Here's another one Harriscott

The reason the Sea Ice is increasing at the South Pole is because of the warming

"So in sum: Scientists are working to explain recent Antarctic sea ice trends, and they’re finding that there may actually be a role for humans in all this. "

LOL

It's not warming at the South Pole

In fact the global temperature hasn't increased for about 18 years

But let's not let facts get in the way of great scary story wink

Just in case anyone should suggest that the non-existent Man Made Global Warming is causing more and more extreme weather events

Quelle surprise

http://globalvoicesonline.org/2015/03/20/japa...dmits-fukushima-meltdown/

It took them 4 years to admit, when faced with a picture of the truth, what we have known ever since Unit 1 exploded

Do you think the other 2 are any different?

Clean, Safe and Carbon Neutral <- just wow !!

http://www.techienews.co.uk/9726430/earth-hou...unge-into-darkness-today/

"Earth" Hours don't complete results for Cancer Research, Ebola Research, HIV Research, Solar Power Research or help understand organisms and their proteins and enzymes that may be useful in developing new medicines, harness new sources of renewable energy, improve nutrition, clean the environment or help create green industrial processes.

Rotten stuff Electricity if it helps do all that we'd best stop using it!!

Keeps us warm, helps us see in the dark, keeps roads safe, keeps our food from spoiling, powers our hospital's, keeps us, our dwellings and clothes clean, transports us, powers industry and research, schools and universities. Helps spread and make available knowledge and information around the globe and collects information from across our solar system and beyond. Electricity allows us to communicate with each other across the globe.

We should be thankful for Faraday, Hertz, Watt, Edison, Tesla, Marconi, Morse, Turing and Flowers, Baird and Bell for their incredible foundations on which we have built.

Keep crunching while we still can

Dave
