----------------------------------------and once again ![]() Currently only 3 of the 8 UK EDF Reactors are fully operational see http://www.edfenergy.com/energy/power-station/daily-statuses and Wylfa's last operational reactor has boiler leak problems .. but that won't stop them even if the boilers are within the pressure vessel and have been running since 1971 http://magnox.nuclearsite.co.uk/remit I had a read through Wylfa's stress test in light of Fukushima and the loss of local power risk scenarios assume that a reactor tripping with local supply failure as very low ...because there's a second reactor onsite. http://www.magnoxsites.co.uk/wp-content/uploa...Test-Report-for-Wylfa.pdf Not any more there isn't !! ![]() |
