We're down into "half a Yorkshire" territory with only 8003 sq kms melting out yesterday

(as is expected at this time of year)

It's the Sun and the relative angle of our Planet that does it you know wink

This melting will continue for a further 8 days at most

Currently 5,027,268 sq kms of Sea Ice at the North Pole

For a bit of perspective that's 62% of the area of the 48 contiguous United States

More Ice than you will find in a Martini Mr Gore
