LOL

Boy it was cold in May in Central England (Just to the East of me)

http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/hadobs/hadcet/cet_info_mean.html

-327.7C the average temperature ... I didn't think that was possible wink

No wonder I can run my CPU's so fast... who needs liquid helium biggrin

The May anomaly was apparently -338.8C

It puts the yearly average at -66.59C

Off the scale biggrin

New Scientist : Herbivores Can’t Survive A Warm Climate
Posted on June 1, 2012

Climate change will create a toxic brew for herbivores

A WARMER world might be a poisoned one. A compilation of studies suggests that as temperatures rise, herbivorous mammals will suffer greater effects from the toxins they eat, with animals living in dry regions at particular risk.

Mammals can maintain a constant body temperature and so are thought to be less vulnerable to temperature changes than cold-blooded animals like reptiles. But Denise Dearing at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City has found evidence that mammals feel the heat in subtle ways. http://stevengoddard.wordpress.com/2012/06/01...nt-survive-warm-climates/
