Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

I'm not debating 9/11. I know what I saw happen in front of my eyes and would prefer if the subject didn't distract from what this thread is all about.

This is a thread about "Climate Change" and the restrictions that are being put in place to choke our future potential as Mankind. The exact opposite of the promise of the WCG.

Gerald for different reasons when it comes to politics in the the UK I'm apolitical as they are all the same - there is no choice. Throw in the undemocratic EU and that's me and politics finished.

Politics should be about getting the best for your citizens. It should be about doing the right thing. It should be a vocation being a MP.

Your Presidents are always exhausted by the time they move into the White House after all the campaigning. Your election process is way too long. By the time they are chosen to even be considered (for the final) they are spent force

Yay times really are a changing

The BBC created one hour of science output about our Climate as influenced by our orbit around the Sun without mentioning MMGW/AGW/Climate Change/Global Climate Disruption once

Not once! I'm not sure I can cope with the shock

For those in the UK check this out. It's a great program

an overview here http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00xztbr

At last Climate Science

Let's see if they make it through the next episode......

here's a thing

http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2012/mar/07/uk-nuclear-risk-flooding

If the sea level isn't rising as the globe isn't warming in line with MMGW predictions then the excuse for the new nuclear power stations...

Just isn't there

I agree but we just cannot justify using that dastardly thing called COAL--I cant wait until everyone freezes their butts off because lack of energy--i can see the greenies now lighting fires in the middle of the living room to keep warm--i will laugh all the way to my wood pile for the wood stove and by the way just throw a few pieces of coal in for good measure wink smile

£120billion gamble on wind turbines: Green energy 'ten times dearer than power stations'
A rush to green energy by spending billions covering much of the countryside with wind turbines would be an expensive blunder, a damning study has found.

Professor Gordon Hughes of Edinburgh University said the massive programme will cost consumers £120billion by 2020 through higher bills.

This is almost ten times more than the £13billion it would cost to generate the same amount of electricity from efficient gas-fired power stations, according to the leading energy and environment economist.
