Strangely now that 6 months of 2011 have completed and the Polar average are computed for that period and same of previous 31 years, the Sea Ice is lowest on record.. a record low... and First Year Ice thinnest we've observed (The Alfred Wegener recons). No wonder the French use a catamaran with sled irons to cross the Arctic ice and the holes in between, many holes.

Ask the folk in Oklahoma or any southern state in the US how global cooling is feeling this time around whilst the sun is still not back into it's usual self... yes, trace gas it is [in quantitative terms].
