Re: smilesmile Join "MyOnlineTeam" Today - Chapter 37 smilesmile

Well, today I am heading to the ER. It looks like I have cellulitis and stasis dermatitis as well. I may find other issues relating to my COPD but am not sure. Hopefully they will not keep me, but I am packing because I think they may. Will say something later if I am home.

Dave, I wish you all of the best.. be safe, and get well soon.. hugs

Do you think MOT needs a forum of it's own? I've seen the website, can it host a small forum?

It will be a lot easier to discuss different topics, whether about crunching, WCG, GPUs, fun stuff or anything else of interest.

Just a suggestion. smile smile

We should within reason be able to discuss almost any topic here.I don't know why people pack up their marbles and leave in the darkness of night without reason or explanation sad .[/b

FYI, Dave is being admitted and will be in the hospital for a day or two at least. When you get old, you get to know your diseases as well as if not better than the doctors. He pegged it.

I can tell you in my experience that I decided to move my other resources to teams that are interested in cultivating GPU computing. I won't speak for DM, but I doubt that he is angry or offended. I think he just decided to move to a bigger, more GPU intensive team (BOINC@Australia). It's too bad he moved his WCG resources too though...

For those of you who recall a while back, Dave mentioned that he had gotten Dragon Naturally Speaking for his computers. He was quite happy with it. In case anyone is interested, Tiger Direct has it on special for 24.99 (50.00 off plus 25.00 rebate, regular price of 99.99) including a headset thru 11:59 PM ET 7/31. This is the standard edition. They also have a Preferred edition and Preferred with a USB Bluetooth headset on sale as well.
