Another week has passed and old ideas finally become implementable... except the end product is not looking as licked as what was in mind... the pie pieces now order in size and the sciences with the smaller run time accumulations have been auto-broken out with the purpose to even be able to show the smallest constituents... yes Clean Water is there already... but on the scale of zero ... hmmm
----------------------------------------![]() PS, the table now has the researches sorted by launch date... that part is a keeper.

No Comment... must be silent agreement then :P
----------------------------------------So I was tying more yellow ribbons around that famous brick road, and this rolled out: ![]() No pushing, but if there's something that I was already capturing at global or science level it can be added to the table rather quickly... it's amazing what one can tease out with just 3 numbers from a stats page. PS. All zero values still showing will in due course become '-'

Not going under ;P
----------------------------------------Now that the DB restructure is nearing completion (not having the knreed integer problems), the slightly evil bit got added to the chart above... Rankings: for current day and 7 day average... so to speak "inter-active" rankings as when we shift our contributions we can influence those numbers. The midday leaders are the Proteome Folders, but the Childhood Cancer number smashers are having top spot for the week. Serious business, with a little lightness on the side.

The only point I see is that I would really like to see an estimated end date. I know you have had issues in generating this. If you think this it is accurate enough you might be able to use this equation:
((Tasks completed / Progress) - Tasks completed) / (tasks completed 7 day average) * 7 / 365 = remaining number of years at current 7 day average When the 7 day average goes to 0 (for intermittent projects) the result goes crazy (you could set a maximum number of years) so then we have to rely on the progress% which is fine. Thanks for the fine work. |

The end date feature sank with the anchor in the Marianne Trough and nothing has come back from there yet. Thanks for letting it rest there.

----------------------------------------never stop being amazed at the numbers- glad to be a teeny tiny part of it. Tip o' the hat to you for putting these charts together, the constant fiddling and so on:) edit to add a bookmark for myself (and anyone else) On the official project launch day, already 883 years for CC4W ! The end date feature sank with the anchor in the Marianne Trough and nothing has come back from there yet. Thanks for letting it rest there. //had to find perspective, <V. Big Grin> thanks Wiki! If Mount Everest, the highest mountain on Earth at 8,848 metres (29,029 ft), were set in the deepest part of the Mariana Trench, there would be 2,076 metres (6,811 ft) of water left above it. ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by pramo at Sep 21, 2010 7:14:53 PM] |
