Ok, spent some quality time doing the ol RTFMing on presenting thousand signs as spaces and force new lines and hard spaces and to get the labels to break where I want then to be in the PI, to fit better. Borrowing from the SNURK sig idea, think spaces in numbers are universally understood when they appear grouped by 3 digits... but now for you to understand "phase 2 123 456"
----------------------------------------More drawing board work ;>)

The "WCG Share by (In)Active Research" chart is dead... long live the "WCG Active/Intermittent Research Dashboard" ... a modernistic way of keeping taps on where we are.

For the performance stats chart watchers, the "progress" label has been replaced by the "Launch" month/year right over the progress percent, in red. Will show in next update.
----------------------------------------As to chart viewing hits, somewhere in Quebec there's a train site that seems to pull copies at the rate of 80 a day according the last 30 day stats, and these are only when getting to them via the bit.ly short links, so hoot hoot to them and hoping each wagon carries loads of new crunchers. Canada 2,421 (/forums/trains/viewtopic.php) Other 531 < hits from the WCG forums. United States 279 Germany 119 France 88 United Kingdom 57 Japan 52 Czech Republic 27 Slovakia 23 Netherlands 22 Italy 20 Denmark 16 Portugal 15 Finland 12 Australia 11 Ukraine 7 Sweden 7 Russian Federation 7 Switzerland 7 Croatia 5 South Africa 4 Poland 4 Other 4 Brazil 4 Israel 3 Spain 3 Hong Kong 2 Bolivia 2 Belgium 2 Turkey 1 Serbia 1 Romania 1 Norway 1 Malaysia 1 Ireland 1 Greece 1 Chile 1 Bulgaria 1

For chart watchers, the Dashboard (WCGPI1 ) now has a line showing the hyperlink shorties to the detail Performance Charts. E.g. when wanting to see the C4CW chart, type in the webbrowser address bar, all in capitals since the links are case sensitive, bit.ly/WCGCCW , where the http:// part will be automatically prefixed when doing the return.
----------------------------------------(There's a quirk still to fix as WCGCE1 will go to WCGCE2 and WCGCE2 giving a bit.ly alert) enjoy edit: And in case you don't have your web-browser set to erase history when exiting, next time just type WCGCCW in the address bar and at least Firefox will present the full address to pick.

Yes, there is no FLU, so pointed to the same scientist group who did the impromptu Influenza... and inside story, they still have no gap to work on the continuation. Too Too busy.

Time for something different, a chart that lays out the monthly CPU years contributed, for now over the past 12 months, so far reconstructed. Not a line, not a ribbon, not a stacked area or 3D pie, but in 3D bars, so we can put them ever higher :D
Subject to change and ditch without notice ... just as try-out, coined for now as WCGYPM --//-- PS, slightly more glossy than the ones on My Grid ;P |

As anticipated, the tasks per month is easier to scale due the varying run times and resultant differentiating quantities. The Crunch attack on HCC is glaringly obvious :D
Chart designator at bit.ly: WCGTPM The footer shows the total results for the last completed month. Plan to add same to the WCGYPM chart, but then years of course. Maybe I'll try to put the data table in the chart instead, if that's of interest. --//-- |
