Re: Supplemental Charts Going Under Due It's Own Success

Returning to Terracentricity, there's only 1 single copy in the universe, our planet representing the total World Community Grid, CPU years printed at left and the spheres sized to their respective shares, their CPU year printed inside. Some were given an Aero glass feature so the outlines of overlayed spheres are somewhat visible.

Earth is a picture taken by the Apollo 17 crew. The background is a Hubble image, the 110Mb picture stunning in resolution.

The image required 800 exposures taken over the course of 400 Hubble orbits around Earth. The total amount of exposure time was 11.3 days, taken between Sept. 24, 2003 and Jan. 16, 2004.

Re: Supplemental Charts Going Under Due It's Own Success

After many months avoiding what had to be done and quite a bit of coding, the new and improved Pi with expanded table finished. Spot the difference with the old... it's now so much easier to make a change or add a pie piece.

Enjoy:

And sorry, but the live html export so you could be hitting all those science buttons for live connection to the research pages gets completely messed up, so regrettably can only offer the img file, for the present. Blame Bill.

Nice. I really like your charts.

One suggestion to make it a little easier to follow: Could you put the project abbreviations above the Phase line? I think that would add a little ease to finding the project(s) of interest, instead of having to follow the lines/arrows.

After numerous ctrl-F5 presses:
edit: snipped picture - not necessary

Red lines + arrows are visible.

Re: Supplemental Charts Going Under Due It's Own Success

I've seen this lately, but only for Picasa and Photobucket. Google spat out this http://stackoverflow.com/questions/385367/wha...f5-and-ctrl-f5-in-browser.

Somehow the browser gets word from the server that the image has not changed meaningfully so they just send what's in their cache. I just tried opening the image with Opera in a new tab and then hit AltGr-F5 which pulled an new one dated the 12th. Your SS shows one dated the 10th. The image has been updated at least twice since. Anyway, what you suggested had been implemented at the creeking of CEST day dawn, on the 12th. :D

Re: Supplemental Charts Going Under Due It's Own Success

The latest WCGPi now integrates the project CPU Years/Results accumulated Milestones and day-records through blue and red boxes around the fields that hold them. Milestones are scaled to project, so a slow project makes smaller milestones. These latter will stay up for a bit until I've entered the next appropriate level (or when I've created a table). Records just stay up for the day. Eventually the detail project charts will update less frequent as slowly the table below the Pi will start to hold more of the plotted detail. In Excel 2010 one can now create mini charts, the size of a single cell, which looked superb during testing... so maybe just one in all is what might be what's coming biggrin

(still to collect on the MS Beta testing coupon :O)
