Yes, we done it again, another 10,000 in record 36 days, completing the first quarter million. It happened sometime before 01:00 UTC since the stats page shows 249,991, but that's a technicality. For a short history how we got here:

The first 10,000 took us 189 days
The first 50,000 took us 622 days
The second 50,000 got in 351 days
The third 50,000 was quicker at 258 days
The forth 50,000 most will remember used 251 days, was reached on Nov 26, 2008
The fifth 50,000 went allot faster again and done in 204 days

Making it a amazing Quarter Million contributed by hundreds of thousands of volunteers of all sizes. Who knows, will the next 50,000 be done in under half a year... it's possible as last week set a record of 1,965 CPU years for 7 days ending Friday.
