No, don't think so! smile cool "Merling" is a verb made up (as far as I am aware) and it means no more, no less, than 'Merle' has posted on this forum! cool There was a time, if I remember rightly, when I was the only female in this team, so they "the 'boys'" could do and say more or less anything they liked, without getting much 'flack' from me (as I was very busy trying to hold my head up high, and also think of something 'rude' to say to them!). However, 'old age' has caught up with me now, and I don't have the 'oomph' to fight back, so they just get away with anything they want now!! Maybe it is your turn now to have a go at them!! smile wink

Re: Re:

Thank you, Merle, for this clarification.
I thought it was a distinct annual shopping day.
So it is "Merle posting".
Very good.
No, I shall try not to get on thin ice with this lot
- for once I chicken out
biggrin
- they (and you, too) are too, too, smart for this mermaid
So what did you do on your outing yesterday, Merle?

wink

Re: Re:

As is the way of languages they change meaning in use
Take, Wicked it used to mean Evil ,But is now used by younger folk to mean something good
"That new Red Susie Alto is Wicked"

My understanding of
The Word "Merle" a Verb is ; to Merle, I Merled, Merling.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>. to shop, I shopped, Shopping.
all terms for Retail therapy.
As Merle so rightly said At one time she was the lone feminine
voice therefore the expert consultant On the subject.
We all will remember the saga of the choice of Tiles for her new Kitchen But Her persistence paid off ending up with the right ones .
But maybe we have it wrong and to Merle means to post
