I have it from a very reliable source, that not much merling goes on these days!! Sods law that when you have the necessary money, you don't have the necessary bodily stamina!! However, daughter and grand-daughter due any moment so who knows what might happen in the next couple of hours? They are a very persuasive couple!!

Well they are now half an hour late! So maybe they stopped on the way here, so that they can devote themselves totally to the 'old lady' when they arrive!!

Evening all

Overcast but warm here so spent some time in the garden. With the lack of rain, lots of leaves are already falling and these needed clearing up before I could trim the grass which added very little to the compost bin.
