Don't you have any NHS participation in paying dentists' bills?  Not where I live, and if we did, the queue would be so long, all your knashers would have fallen out by the time you got to see the dentist!   |

Evening all
National Health never worked very well for dentistry. Some things were subtle in that it could be done in a few weeks time or tomorrow if you're prepared to go private. I had a long battle with front teeth after a bodged job by the local dentist when I was about seventeen resulted in abscessess in one tooth. It finally got solved by some good bridge work when I was in Germany for which I had to pay just 40% because of the Euro exchange agreement. Still in my parents day the idea was to have all your teeth out in early adulthood to avoid the cost of dentistry in the future. There probably aren't too many glasses of water beside the bed these days. |

If I had all the money I have spent at my Dentist in the last few years, I would be a very rich woman! And what's more, I save some money as I don't have injections!! I am probably in and out of there in 10 to 15 minutes every time, and come home with a much lighter purse!!

As to your question: Once upon a time I started a thread called "Where do you come from", and one of the posts was from a despaired cruncher from - it turned out when he answered my relevant question - Hong Kong - who couldn't get his stats to work on Facebook. OMG theres a First ^^^^^^ at least in this place,
