Re: Re:

Morning all.
Swan Vestas? Sandpaper? So that's what did it!
Now had it been a chicken I could have had it for lunch!

I know someone who needs a haircut, today's as good a day as any, now where's my pain killers? Strange isn't it, how haircuts cost so much pain, in the wallet usually.

Have a good day

Re: Re:

Moaning all...............

Talking of hair sadly now lacking of my own!!

Grand Standing.
(or should that read 'Stranding')

With little success at hair retention
I've one strand left of small dimension
Scalped this way, I'm not enthralled
One-stranded now, I'm follicle-y bald

It's hair raising to feel alone and bereft
Deserted by all it's brothers who left
This ordeal has the hair standing there pining
Atop my bald scalp, so hairless-ly shining

The lonesome strand just keeps on grieving
Missing its mates, since their mass leaving
So soulful and sad, it can't seem to find
On the scalp of this lad, a hair-piece of mind

My dome once covered with hair-filled density
Has no foreseeable future-tense-ity
For so loyally standing hair-ly at hand
I'll always be grateful to that one last grand strand biggrin

Have a great day good luck

Old 'Bald' Sage wink

Geocache in the news here,Weatherby Yorkshire

The cache was under a planter in a street in Weatherby the hunter found it & replaced it but was spotted by a shopkeeper
who called the Police Who arrested the hunter, the street was closed off. The army came with the tracked bomb disposal machine wink

Re: Re:

@ Edwardian - do you think it's an epidemic, pets bowing in droves: Scribe's Arthur, don den's little dog,
and now your budgie with TWO broken legs
- how did that happen? -
(altho fixed and still alive even with a happy face, you claim)?
@ old sage - lovely hair poem. You wouldn't stand a chance running for anything having to do with politics in Texas,
one observant friend of mine would claim, as good hair is a prerequisite for success there he has noticed ...
@ don den - one sure acts suspicious when geocaching, but seldom it becomes as dramatic as
in Vejrby, Yorkshire - but then again I think I remember being informed that Yorkshiremen do things in their own manner, right?

Re: Re:

I'm Wasting My time here sad Quite a weather filled day ^^^^

Should have posted Pun Alert ; Weather/ Weatherby

Its a play on words dont you see confused
Weatherby a place in Yorkshire ,,,,,
Weather The daily ambiant climate conditions wink
No? ah well I keep trying crying

Geocache in Yorkshire might be a dodgy place to do it
http://www.blottr.com/breaking-news/wetherby-bomb-was-geocache

Tonsoriopolitical focus
Dont know about The Lone Star politicos
But In Russian Premierships they Alternate, Bald thru to full head and back again. This rule has never been broken for close to 130 years, ever since the balding Alexander III took over from hairy father in 1881 Nicolas II, who was hairy, Vladimir Lenin was bald, Joseph Stalin was hairy, Nikita Khrushchev was bald, Leonid Brezhnev was hairy. Balding Yuri Andropov was succeeded by hairy Nikolai Chernenko, who left his seat to bald Mikhail Gorbachev.
And that's just the male head Honchos No mention if they applied some colour enhancing potions

This statue was unveiled yesterday (4th july2011) in Grosvenor Square by Condie Rice Outside the american Embassy

Anglo American, Condolisa Rice And William Hague sit alongside the ten foot high statue Both seem to have Very High foreheads a follicular challenged duo devilish

It seems the Embassy are a little under whelmed by the statue
when asked if the would take it with them when they move The spokesperson said " it Aint Ours"
It was apparently erected by the Regan Foundation confused

This is the new Embassy

And this the old building in leafy Londons Grosvenor square
Its the largest American embassy in western U-rope

While this statue is in Londons Bond street Winnie with FDR looks well polished as if many have sat on the knees
Any way nothing to do with hair or lack of it Dont blame me Tony started it devilish

Next week we will look at the Moustache growing abilities of the distaff side of politics

Re: Re:

Love that geocache story, don den quixote
biggrin

Oh, I did pick up on your weather word play, dens,
just tried to take it across the North Sea where it belongs:
cool
Weather = Vejr = Weather (as easy as temperatur = temperature)
by = town = by
The Vikings introduced the suffix "-by" which you find in every crook and cranny
trodden down by large Viking feet inclusive of Derby and Grimsby.
