Yep!
As I remember it you were an avid fan of Formula 1 races and military history, half tracks and whole tracks.
Your trained moderator eyes have undoubtedly noticed I play Hexagame, and I understand halday who started the thread is alias cummerbund.
Is he still around?

Re: Re:

Oh, mighty!
You have taken to sea as well, Scribe.
Say, do you build those models from scratch or can you buy a "skeleton"?
I like that Tiger on the red carpet.
Looks as if it could have been with Montgomery.
Please, don't laugh, if it's way too young to have been there
- my knowledge is too poor.

Re: Re:

Proud to see I had the time frame correct.
Deeply embarrassed to se that the nationality I had in mind was completely off.
This I could have camouflaged as a language flop, but I am ruthlessly honest.
Merle, help me, please .. would you have known?

Re: Re:

A little humour to brighten your day ...... biggrin devilish

Tell Us Who Did It

An old man was sitting on a bench
When something caught his view
He stared at a lad who sat next to him
The teenager had spiked hair in myriad hue
He just kept staring at the lad’s hair
It was colored green, red, orange, and blue
The old man just kept staring at him
And the teenager lost his rag as they do

"What's the matter old man”?
He said loud enough for everyone
“You never done anything wild in your life”?
And waited for a reply when he’d done
The old man said without hesitation
Replying as quick as a bullet from a gun
"I got drunk once and had sex with a peacock
I was just wondering if you were my son"

Old Sage wink

Re: Re:

Evening all

The fine and sunny weather continues and we spend some time in a neighbour's garden in the warmth and chatting with them and her parents from North Yorkshire. Good conversation and a glass of cider made it really like a summer's day.
