Re: Re:

Evening all

Overcast now but we did have some sun during the day and it remains dry so I could get the first coat of treatment on my door/gate.

Just now keeping an eye on the match in Mumbai which looks to be a nail biter.

I don't suppose many of us have mothers to give treats to tomorrow but wherever they are I raise my glass to them.

I remember the first gift I gave my own mother when I was 12yrs old. From my own earnings ( the grand sum of half-a-crown, 'twelve & a halve newpence'), I bought a very exotic gift.....A BUNCH OF BANANAS!!
they cost me one shilling, mum was very suprised and pleased!!
How times have changed......Loved you then MUM and still do. rose

I hope Sunday is a wonderful day for all mums everywhere .......... rose rose rose rose rose rose rose rose rose

Re: Re:

..and congratulations [gunner] steady at the top and reaching six figures - good on you mate!

A fine and warm day here so I finished treating the gate/door and then did some clearing up in the garden. It now needs only about twenty hours work to make it look respectable.

If I started from scratch again I'd go for astroturf.
