Evening all Another dry day but not quite as warm as of late. I just have to remember to get outside and do some watering. DRY day? It's hammered down here today! Wont need to water the garden for the rest of "Summer" methinks! |

As far as the young ones here are concerned, summer's over. They started back to school today. I saw lots of sleepy and unhappy faces at the schoolbus stops today.

every official thing came as Ivan-Frederick. That always sounded quite impressive. that sounds positively imperial  my dad always says they picked my name because you couldn't make stupid abbreviations of it now the parents themselves call me eef loads of other people call me eveen, vy or ev and some egyptian workmen even succeeded in shortening it to "vv" impressive considering they didn't have that letter in their alphabet until recently so that abbreviation trick didn't really work  tot siens Hal, aka hally aka aitch aka prof etc. Now where did those cute little bronze medals turn up from all of a sudden? Congrats to JP for his numerical achievement, but take my advice - don't work too hard. Stick to essentials to avoid boredom , but do rest whenever you can. |

(I had a hip replacement a little over 2 years ago). my granddad has spare parts too.. so cool  good luck with the scan |
