Re: THE EDWARDIANS - WHY NOT JOIN US AS THE QUEST CONTINUES -

And I can boast two replacement knees!!

wow! respect applause
how do they work though? over here hip replacements have become quite common but the first time I heard about knee replacements was when the doc said my mother might need them
(she thought he was joking devilish )

some watering but not the grass, that has to learn how to survive on its own

cool cool cool

Evy, they are absolutely brilliant! (The knees, I mean!) The pain in my knees before I had the replacements (6 months apart) was horrific! crying Really couldn't walk any distance. Now I get no pain at all and they work perfectly cool I would highly recommend having them done. biggrin (And do I dare tell you this - I didn't have a general anaesthetic - I had epidurals wink) Took the advice of my daughter who is a theatre nurse and what a good decision that was - no after effects at all. smile

arhghgh devilish
enjoy it!! cool

great to hear that about the knees Merle, my mother may need them at some point in the future, I'll be sure to tell her about the epidurals. Much to her dismay she had kids (at least one nice one I might add cool ) before they were invented I'm sure she'll be interested devilish

I guess I'll have to come over there when I have mine done. I don't trust the docs here for a second and the hospitals even less.

One thing though, do weather changes effect your knees?

Y'all have a great day. cool
