And I can boast two replacement knees!! wow! respect how do they work though? over here hip replacements have become quite common but the first time I heard about knee replacements was when the doc said my mother might need them (she thought he was joking )some watering but not the grass, that has to learn how to survive on its own ![]() |

Evy, they are absolutely brilliant! (The knees, I mean!) The pain in my knees before I had the replacements (6 months apart) was horrific!
Really couldn't walk any distance. Now I get no pain at all and they work perfectly I would highly recommend having them done. (And do I dare tell you this - I didn't have a general anaesthetic - I had epidurals ) Took the advice of my daughter who is a theatre nurse and what a good decision that was - no after effects at all. ![]() |

Yayyy! The weekend starts this evening!!!
I have tomorrow off in exchange for going into work the Sunday before last. Friday is just a regular holiday. I'll be heading off up to Southampton, to get my car serviced an do some shopping that day. Fingers crossed for good weather. Even better, we get bank holiday Monday off. ![]() It's been ages since I've had a holiday, so feel I really need it. ![]() |

Yayyy! The weekend starts this evening!!! arhghgh enjoy it!! great to hear that about the knees Merle, my mother may need them at some point in the future, I'll be sure to tell her about the epidurals. Much to her dismay she had kids (at least one nice one I might add ) before they were invented I'm sure she'll be interested ![]() |

I don't trust the docs here for a second and the hospitals even less. One thing though, do weather changes effect your knees? Y'all have a great day. ![]()
