I sure hope the child-safe forums rule doesn't mean I have to adopt the child-LIKE attitudes that seem to prevail. I'm not saying we have to be hostile, but the sugarcoated atmosphere isn't like any environment I've ever been in, grade school or otherwise.

Thing about "language and tone that are appropriate for reading by children" is - there's a danger in talking to children like they're children. Talk to children like they're mature adults, and that's what they eventually turn into. Baby talk and manic gaiety will harm more than it helps... just come have a look how the members of Tribalwar turned out.

Now now, mr_luc, I'm not sure we want to teach children about the horrors of authoritarian collectivism just yet. It's one thing not to talk down to them, it's quite another to try explaining to them how Lysenko managed to starve millions of people to death over several years by failing crops with his (and the party's) irrational belief in a ideologically motivated scientific theory.



Also, I'm very disappointed to note a distinct lack of "All Your Base" in your red flyer.
