Well said Sage and Darth Vader, people here are just unbelievable. They won't take a new job because they can't start off making what they were making at the furniture factory or textile mill after 20+ years of employment. Never occured to them that those high wages is part of what push thier jobs over seas.
I needed a delivery driver, I had 40 applicants, 29 either had felony convictions for various things or too many tickets, 4 were under 21(minimum age allowed), 2 had no license at all and 4 got ruled out only because they wanted $13 or more an hour for an $8hr job.
We're opening a new store in the next town, over 400 applications for 9 positions, the manager had trouble filling the store staff and guess what he still doesn't have....that's right, delivery drivers.

One of these days the working people of the US are going to get tired of supporting the rest of the country and revolt. this time though I expect things will turn out differently.

It's time the wealthy started paying thier way instead of hiding in tax shelters, when I run for President in '12, that's my platform.

Well Ivan, we already have about 2 inches of snow here in deepest Surrey and little furry friend insists on keep going in and out to investigate and I guess to leave her paw prints! I shall be interested in the morning to see if there are any fox trails, as my neighbours inform me that they are in the garden most nights!

Have had a really lazy day today and got nothing done!! I know I will regret it tomorrow.

I might as well have an early night, that is about the only way I can shut up furry friend from constantly asking to go out!! (Unfortunately left cat flap at previous residence!)

I'll let you know if I am snowed in, in the morning!
