 Good evening all.......Thanks for all the advice and Emails everyone, seem to be up and running OK now! Speeding eh Den? My little bruvver (58 years old) just did one of those, and the policeman (about 25) told him not to be a silly BOY! Respect for age no longer exits it would seem. Merle rang to say she is having problems with her computer, and will be back as soon as possible. |

Morning all.
Speeding eh Den? My little bruvver (58 years old) just did one of those, and the policeman (about 25) told him not to be a silly BOY! Respect for age no longer exits it would seem. 'Little Bruvver'?!!/?  he's bigger than the pair of us put together  heard that they ask pensioners at the local store for identity and proof of age before serving them with 'fags' and booze, the worlds cuckoo!You all have a fun day now Old 'doddery' Sage |

Evening all
A bright and dry day but it's getting colder all the time and the max forecast for Sunday is just 1° C. No shortage of Cancer units here, for me it seems mostly that and Human Protein. I've avoided any question of speeding having given up the car ten years ago. One of my main reasons for moving to the Smoke was not to be dependent on the car. It's a bit like smoking; the withdrawal symptoms last for a time and then you suddenly wonder what it was all about. I miss my many trips through France as we had holidays in Country Gites but the memories remain and I have no wish to battle with the English motorways again. Have a good weekend my good team friends. |

Merle rang to say she is having problems with her computer, and will be back as soon as possible. Got it back this evening (from the 'Puter hospital' - all nice and clean and tidy, no viruses and not too expensive either). BUT ........ best of all, I - the most non-techie individual on this planet, - managed to put it all together again (as in the right cable into the right hole round the back of the box) and IT WORKS!!. Hows that then for a "silly old woman"? Still difficult to get down on my knees as well! Spose I should go and get something to eat now. Bye .............................. |
