Re: THE EDWARDIANS - MARCH ON

The weather forecast for tomorrow says 'light snow showers'.............we shall see cool

John, I think "light snow showers" is somewhat of an understatement! Little furry friend and I are marooned!! sad I don't remember such a 'Christmas Card' picture for many a long year, and what's more it is still coming down thicker and faster by the minute!! crying

Re: THE EDWARDIANS - MARCH ON

Evening all

And snow it certainly did.

No schools open, so I can hear cheers around and snowballs hitting my window. No buses so no temptation to go out except to feed the birds and the squirrels.

Foxes here Merle all the time. If you go out early you're likely to meet one in the street and if it's sunny I often see a couple relaxing on one of the shed roofs.

Keep warm y'all and remember it's Groundhog day.

Re: THE EDWARDIANS - MARCH ON

I am confined to barracks!! I had attempted to clear the snow off my car this morning (14" - honestly!) as I was due to visit a friend in hospital this afternoon. However, my boss (daughter actually) rang up to enquire what I was doing, and I was then forbidden to leave the house. I am hoping against hope that it will be a bit better by tomorrow afternoon (although the forecasts are not good) crying. I have a doctor's appointment in the afternoon for some tests results, plus need to tell her about a couple of other bits of my body that now don't work properly. However, with the boss keeping a close eye, I probably won't get there either. sad crying I am not keen on this role reversal - I used to be the one in charge!! devilish

Re: THE EDWARDIANS - MARCH ON

Greeting Friends...Today was Groundhog day and the little critter saw his shadow which means 6 more weeks of winter weather.

I hope everyone is doing well. I've been very busy and not on the Forums as much as I would ilke but still crunching everyday. I'll drop in more if only to say hello to keep in touch

Take care,
Chris

I can understand your frustrations Merle! crying

Snow down here too, which is a real rarity. My usual journey time of 15 minutes to work took 55 minutes, due to grid lock on some of the main roads. Some people didn't even make it in!

It'll probably be worse tomorrow as the melt re-freezes overnight, making it a complete skid-pan. sad
