Louloup !!!
--------- Louloup !!! We do not jump on people! Yes, NixChix is nice. He'll give you aeronautics lessons, and besides, you'll have fun with Puppy. But what is rule number one? "We are wise, and we listen". Sitting, not moving. That's my dog, go ahead. There, normally, they left to play during minimum 3H ... I forgot to say that I have his frisbee? With a little delay: A very simple web page for badges. It only takes me 3min to update it, but at least that way, Litlle Mermaid and Base Camp have a backup (Free would have to lose everything to lose the data) |

Congratulations on your 5 years runtime, stefada,
and thank you for providing safe housing for Base Camp's badges NixChix, brrrrrr … How best to thaw you after that chilly flight? It’s a little early for the Chrismassy glögg – Glühwein – some sort of rum toddies, but let’s try that anyway. I cannot go all wrong. ![]() Good Afternoon Base Campers! Business It’s a pleasure to welcome Doneske to Base Camp’s GRAND GALLA SNURK CELEBRATION trek We have more glögg than NixChix can handle, we have Sam Adams brought to us by NixChix, who also made a heavy landing with the best avocados money can buy – and they come with a history the Netherlands provide milk and cheese, and I have trawled the oceans around Greenland and caught the finest shrimps to put in those avocado holes - those that survive in their original shape. NixChix will mash some of them up in different ways and turn them into guacamole and what have you. We have tulips (a special sort of late bloomers) to decorate our camp. What more can we wish for? Maybe a few more Base Campers to join us at SNURK and friends … |

Good Morning Base Campers!
Business Our crew at SNURK and friends is unchanged - and now I'll correct my omission: NAP2614 arrived first! acpartsman BladeD davwhite5xq7 Doneske little mermaid NAP2614 NixChix stefada TLD BladeD has noted a benchmark of the figures for SNURK and friends at the start of our trek (approximately) and it would be nice if we could elevate the team's position. I'm sure our present crew can do that, but wouldn't mind some more joining us - just for the fun of it Chit-chat My Danish reading group took off today. It went well. Everybody cooperates to make it pleasant to discuss a book, and I'm sure we put intentions into Gerbrand Bakker's 'June' that he had never thought about himself. ![]() |

Good Morning Base Campers!
Business Well, I tightened up on my somewhat sloppy way of keeping tabs stefada went home to team Kraland. It was such a pleasure having you along NAP2614 left - I don't know to where. Could be The Edwardians. Thank you for being here, nap So the current crew is down to: acpartsman BladeD davwhite5xq7 Doneske little mermaid NixChix TLD - and we are bringing team SNURK and friends upstairs fairly fast. When BladeD clocked the team it was #49 in runtime, now Captain SNURK himself reports us as being #21 - his SNURK sign and mine, however, still says #49 ![]() |

The 49 is overall. |

Good Afternoon Base Campers!
Business Our current crew with SNURK and friends consists of: acpartsman BladeD davwhite5xq7 Doneske little mermaid NixChix TLD Besides, NAP2614 and stefada have chipped in and earned their badge![]() Base Camp Hall of Fame Your badges for our MOT trek have been dealt here ![]() Chit-chat Today was one more in this almost endless series of beautiful summer days where I live. It called for an outing, which went south crossing the AD1937 bridge to visit an art museum exhibition called ’Earth Connections’ which dealt with the role soil and scenery play in painting filled with motives such as this ![]() |

When word spreads about the tidal wave of production we bring with us, you'll probably have teams begging you to base camp with them.

Well, that’s what you would think, acpartsman.
And in the olden days Base Camp had invitations – which we for the most part were haughty enough to decline whereas we have to realize that team work and spirit no longer exists in the same way as it once did. One would think everybody with a SNURK sign would see this Base Camp’s GRAND GALLA SNURK CELEBRATION trek as a godsend to thank SNURK for it and rush to sign up with the team as a migrant worker. But no-no. We are the same close knit group of Base Camp nomads pushing that ’tidal wave’ in front of us. Nobody seems to want to spend time switching team for a good cause: Pushing team SNURK and friends up the ladder. But that’s not the way this piano plays it seems. Maybe next time ![]() Good Morning Base Campers! Business Our current crew with SNURK and friends is unchanged and consists of: acpartsman BladeD davwhite5xq7 Doneske little mermaid NixChix TLD What else to say? That we should be more? Well, everyone with and without SNURK signs have been invited – the door is wide open at SNURK and friends ![]() – so now enter, please ![]() Chit-chat Today at our basement dance we three elderly ones were joined for a bit by three gigling shy 12-13 year-old girls. It was great fun to watch how they at first couldn’t do anything but twisting and giggling in place over one cautiously starting to move and the others slowly join in. Poor little ones: It’s still awful and wonderful being at the watershed between child and youngster; and it’s still wonderful to be alive at my age – and shyness is optional ![]() |
