Business We could say that BladeD’a advice of posting in SNURK’s thread where crunchers ask for his sign paid off. Team SNURK and friends got a new member – hopefully a permanent one. No matter what, we’ll count him as a Base Camper for the entire month of September while Base Camp’s GRAND GALLA SNURK CELEBRATION trek runs, and KevinGrabher will receive the badge upon the end of the trek. So, our current crew with SNURK and friends now consists of: acpartsman BladeD davwhite5xq7 Doneske KevinGrabher little mermaid NixChix TLD It's such a nice feeling Chit-chat Today I had a Holter monitor installed to wear for two days and nights. For those who never heard of that: It’s a sort of mobile EKG. You are equipped with – in my case – three electrodes all connected to a little ’tape recorder’ that registers your heartbeat while you act 'normal'. The purpose is to find out if there could be any measures that will ensure less fatigue. On my own, I have stopped eating the beta blockers that is the suspected culprit, and the measurements will show my heart performance without this intervention, which I cleared with the heart nurse. Actually, I feel a little better. Whether it’s the time or because I stopped the beta blockers, or? - noone can tell. Good news: Downstairs Grethe, the ’mother’ of Tessa the schnauzer, is an elderly lady who can use some assistance from her neighbors, had her car stolen a week ago. She accidentally dropped her car keys, and when she backtracked to find them again, she found her car missing. The police – a man and a woman – visited her this morning with a big grin on their faces: Her car had been found not all that far away, and no damage – except for raindrops through slightly open windows was done. She was very happy. Forgot her back pain and danced through her kitchen.
