Greets Dataman. I had a similar situation with the 2003 server licence so I switched one of the machines to Linux for a look. This is the same machine I ran vista on for the past two months and the difference in stress levels is daunting. Such is the effect on my mood, I've not spat at the machine once since Linux was installed saving significant funds in glass cleaner.  RIP : Dos_4 > vista Yes, Vista is just another pretty dress on the same old hog. Not sure I'm up to learning Linux though. Easier to scrounge another copy of XP |

Thanks everyone--I had to put XP Pro on a Vista machine it wouldnt connect to my Sat. also having trouble with bandwidth they cut you off when you go to high i have to disconnect then reconnect to upload units--its a pain. I am looking at cable they just got it in the deep woods where i am at the end of the Earth.

Thanks guys, we'll see how things pan out for the future. I'll probably continue to dabble about at the WCG, but my main interest is elsewhere right now.

I think the consensus of us MOTers is that Vista is a waste of a good blank DVD.
Also, consider this the mid evening bump. |
